Delete user data
At xDev Asia, we respect your privacy and control over your personal data. This page provides instructions on how to request deletion of your account and all related data.
Data we store
When you use xDev Asia (website and mobile application), we may store:
- Account information: Display name, email address, avatar
- Learning history: Lessons completed, course progress
- Bookmark data: Saved articles and series
- Quiz results: Scores and practice test history
How to request data deletion
You can request deletion of all personal data in one of the following ways:
Method 1: Via email
Send an email to [email protected] with subject line "Account deletion request" and content including:
- Registered email address
- Name displayed on account
- Confirm you want to delete all data
Method 2: Via GitHub
Create an issue at github.com/xdev-asia-labs with the title "Data Deletion Request".
Processing time
We will process the request within 30 days of receipt. Once completed, you will receive an email notification confirming the data has been deleted.
Data is deleted
Once the request is approved, we will delete:
- Account and personal information
- Study history and progress
- Bookmarks and custom data
- Quiz results and scores
Note: Some anonymized and aggregated data (e.g. view statistics) may not be deleted because they cannot be linked back to you.
